On behalf of Options for Independence, we are pleased to announce the development of our e-commerce website, an innovative consignment shop for hand crafted products and services created by people living along the Gulf Coast. This virtual marketplace will serve as an economic stimulator for the Gulf Coast region and to celebrate the rich diversity of the many cultures that exist in the Gulf Coast states.
The business model of the Gulf Coast Marketplace relies on major sponsorship from public and private organizations to maximize the amount of revenue that will be available to the vendors. The proposed model is designed to secure support from five (5) major sponsors and additional supporting sponsors. Major sponsors will be featured prominently throughout the website and their logos will appear on all printed materials and promotions. South Louisiana Economic Council (SLEC), based in the Bayou Region has signed on as our first major sponsor.
